Paranorman is a one of a kind stop-motion animation movie that also had a great video marketing campaign on the web.
And we can learn something from it to apply to a business, for example. But more on that later.
ParaNorman’s online video campaign was great not by having a few videos with celebrity interviews and “I loved working with the director” sort of videos, no. It was by having really well made videos that connect the viewer with the emotional tone of the movie.

Since it is a hand-made stop-motion film, a lot of artistry and technology went to it and so this next video, completely different in tone from the first one, makes a good job of explaining it and leaving the audience wanting for more:

But they also kept the videos topical, this way there’s always a better chance of spreading and connecting with what people are talking about – by making this video of Zombie doing gymnastics around the Olympics:
Finally, they created exclusive content for specific situations, like for the IMAX screenings:
